SEVERN RIVER LEADERSHIP GROUP, LLC Shield:  The colors BLUE and GOLD represent the traditional colors of the United States Navy, our leadership foundation at the United States Naval Academy, and the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. 

The shield incorporates the Blue Sea, the Sun, three Sails, and four Cardinal compass points.

• The Blue Sea is a reminder of the challenges we will face in life and the need for Personal and Professional Resilience.

• The Sun represents the necessity of Optimism and Positive Energy in our lives.

• The three Sails represent the components of a Transition on Purpose mindset:  Self-Awareness, Exploration, and Action. 

• The four cardinal compass points are a reminder of the four virtues of Stoicism:  Wisdom, Courage, Temperance, and Justice as well as the need to find and chart a course to one’s True North.
